All Stormy Lake (North) cottagers will have seen how much road work was
necessary to put the road in working condition this Spring, and most of us have
seen the extent of the additional planned work, to provide adequate runoff
channels for the road so that we may avoid the frequent washout problems in
future. The cost has been high: $4,850
on roadwork already this year. Your association had planned for much of the
expense: we are financially stretched, but can meet our needs for snow removal
in 2001/2 and the startup costs in Spring of 2002 if we all continue to
support through our membership dues.
