Thanks to Ray and Bernie T for manning at the weigh in table

Twenty eight participants representing approximately 15 families had their efforts rewarded with prizes supplied by the Stormy Lake road associations.

The big winners received trophies, hand crafted by Mike Berezowsky, and gift certificates donated by Outdoors Plus Bait & Tackle in Haliburton.

Many participants noted that Perch, Sunfish and Small Mouth Bass are increasing in size and numbers since the derby started in 1998. Our efforts are paying off.  But still, the predatory Rock Bass must be kept in check. Hopefully more residents of Stormy Lake will engage in the fun next Civic Holiday Weekend!
